More Dawdles without Graham – late addition

It is good to know the Dawdles are still continuing even though Graham is unable to lead due to his sabbatical. Glenys and Philip France have been trialling a few more walks – all on Wednesdays in addition to those on the previous post.

Dawdles without Graham

Good Friday Service of Reflection
Join together with friends from across the partnership in reflecting on the events of Good Friday

Easter Events across the Partnership
Albion “Experiencing Easter”
Albion are offering a chance to take time to reflect and pray at a series of stations recalling the events of Holy Week. There will also be activities for children. The times are as follows:
- Wednesday 13th April 2:00-5:00pm 6:00-8:00pm
- Thursday 14th April 2:00-5:00pm 6:00-7:00pm
- Maundy Thursday Communion Service at 7:00pm
- Friday 15th Aril 10:00-11:00am
- Good Friday Service at 11:00am
All are welcome, come and go as you wish.
Macedonia “Easter Adventure”
On Saturday 9th April, 10:30 – 12:30, Macedonia will be holding an Easter Adventure where we plan to explore the Easter Story through arts and crafts and then enjoy worship and a meal together!
Everyone is welcome.
Macedonia “Supper and Story”
Macedonia will host a faith supper on Maundy Thursday at 7:30pm – just bring something you like and we will share all the offerings together as we remember the story of events leading up to Jesus arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane. If the weather is suitable we hope to finish in the garden, so bring suitable warm, waterproof clothing.
Union Street Good Friday Service
Union Street will hold a Good Friday Service in the church at 11:00am All are welcome to join in as we reflect on the trial and death of Jesus of Nazareth, “King of the Jews”.
Tuesday Conversations – pausing.
These Tuesdays Conversations are taking a break for a while due to sabbaticals and holidays. We hope to restart with a new series after Pentecost – so watch this space!
Spring (ish) Dawdles with Graham
A few more dates and times below – all still welcome, nothing really strenuous but breathing, fitness, wellbeing improving with all who have been on many of the walks.

top of Joel Lane, slightly left and on right. Hilly but NOT the hill. - Wednesday 30th March, 10:30 Mill Brow (car park), OL1 2RT, Nr St.
Matthew’s Church perhaps with a stop in the cafe in Chadderton Park. - Friday, 8th April, 14:00, Hurst Nook URC, OL6 9HJ, on street parking – will be
walking along Nook Lane toward the golf course and Knott Hill Reservoir.
Graham will be on sabbatical after these dawdles, but the walks will continue on Wednesday mornings after Easter (starting 27th April). So watch this space for details of times and meeting places.
